Laureate of «Aurora» 2018, lawyer, leader of Rohinja nation Cho La Aun has visited the university today by the invitation of the Department of Foreign Relations and International cooperation. He has toured in the university, has been introduced to the university activity and has met with the Rector of the university Hovhannes Tokmajyan, academic staff and the students. 

Vice Rector of Students Affairs Eleonora Avanesyan has presented the hard lifepath of Cho La Aun and how he had been awarded «Aurora» prize. 

After Cho La Aun has shown video material concerning his activity, touched upon a number of issues on human rights and problems of Rohinja nation. «I fought for freedom and rights of Rohinja nation long time. They were constantly subjected  to violence and tortures. I was arrested for several times. There were protests and demonstrations where I and other arrested people also participated. After being freed we created a party called «National Democratic Party where lawyers and representatives of Rohinja nation were involved. Rohinja nation was not allowed to get education. Today 10000  pupils can get education as a result of my mediation. But there is still much thing to do and the struggle still continues»,-Cho La Aun underlined thus inspiring the nations of the same destiny to struggle for their rights and freedom.      

Cho La Aun has been introduced to experimental laboratory and the assortment produced there. 

He has expressed his gratitude towards the universitarians for warm welcome  and pointed out that he has been influenced by the presence of such university in Artsakh.
