THE UNIVERSITY STUDENT MARIAM GEVORGYAN PARTICIPATED IN INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT

«Eastern European Network For Citizenship Education» /EENCE 2019/ international summit has recently been organized in Batumi, Georgia, where participants from more than 15 countries have taken part. Political and social figures, lecturers, representatives from leading international press of Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary and Belarus and other countries participated in the conference.      

Master student of the Department of Agriculture of Shushi University of Technology Mariam Gevorgyan has presented Artsakh in the summit. According to her, her participation to «Eastern European Network For Citizenship Education» has been exclusive: «The summit was one of the exclusive and most effective academic projects I have ever participated in and as Artsakh is a conflict zone, I had the chance to represent our country which is still not recognized internationally»,- M. Gevorgyan has underlined in her speech.  

Academic programs of informal education, the role of civil society and the young in the development of the countries and other issues have been discussed during the summit. Discussion on the topic of «Transformations of conflicts» and presentation have also been organized there where Mariam Gevorgyan has presented the ways of solution of Artsakh conflict.
