Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on current issues concerning Water Sector, Ecology, Architecture and Construction are going on at Technical University of Georgia in Tbilisi.

The conference is coordinated by Rector of Georgia Technical University, Academician Archil Prangishvili, Rector of Shushi University of Technology, Professor Hovhannes Tokmajyan and Director of Georgian Water Economy, Professor Givi Gavardashvili.

The conference was first held in 2011 with the participation of scientists from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Today representatives of 10 countries such as Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Belarus, Ukraine, Russian Federation and  Artsakh participate in this conference.

Four reports were presented at the conference from Artsakh and Armenia by researchers and masters of Shushi University of Technology, National Polytechnic University of Armenia and Yerevan State University.  

The conference proceedings are summarized in a 343-page journal of conference materials.

It is regrettable to note that although the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia is one of the coordinators of the conference, the university has not been  participating in the conference for already 5 years since the appointment of Gagik Galstyan to the post of Rector.
