The second Sunday of October is celebrated as the Day of Agricultural Worker which has already become a tradition in Stepanakert connected with which each year “Harvest Festival” is organized.

Ahead of the celebration, the main square of the town was full of joy: tables, pavilions and ornaments were placed and the stage was being decorated.

Shushi Technological University also took part in the annual “Harvest Festival” dedicated to the Day of Agricultural Workers held on October 8th in the Renaissance Square in Stepanakert 44086270_1260525430755593_5744709673991274496_nexhibiting its creative pavilion.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan blessed the harvest presented at the fair.

The product of Shushi Technological University was presented to “Harvest Festival” such as organic creams and essential oils, cans, juices, compotes, jams and assorted varieties of dried fruit as well.

The President of the RA Bako Sahakyan, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Arayik Harutyunyan, State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Grigory Martirosyan, other officials, intellectuals and citizens visited the pavilion of the university.

The President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan instructed the governing body of the University to solve the problems of packaging, information support and certification of creams and essential oils manufactured by the University as soon as possible. Rector Hovhannes Tokmajyan assured the President of the country that they would solve the problem in the shortest period of time.

The fair continued till late in the evening being accompanied by cultural events, songs and dances bringing a lot of joy and admiration to those present.
